December 2024, Ailey was invited to play for the 19U AAA San Diego Angels for the second half of the season, including their run to Nationals. She will continue to play for the Coeur d’Alene Lady Thunder as well. She says of the opportunity “I am excited to be asked to join the Angels and am looking forward to USA Hockey Regionals and a chance to play at Nationals.”
